The Phaeton Piano Trio unites three top German artists of international standing — Friedemann Eichhorn on violin, Peter Hörr on cello, and Florian Uhlig on piano — to form one of the most exciting piano trios on the international concert scene.
As soloists, the artists have been successfully touring the major stages throughout Europe, in Asia, and North and South America for more than twenty years. Based in Weimar, they bring a weight and seriousness to the great Romantic repertoire that does not stifle enjoyment.
Their North American debut at the Library of Congress in 2020 — where Friedemann Eichhorn was given the honor of playing the Kreisler Guarneri del Gesù — was followed by acclaimed appearances at the Frick Collection in New York, Cleveland, Princeton, and across Canada.
